The principals of TBK Strategies LLC met and formed TBK in 1997 as Team Bruce and Kopchains. They have earned a reputation for meticulous planning and flawless execution – traits that become second nature after a combined 40 years of active and reserve duty with the elite US Navy SEALs and Naval Intelligence.

 Dave entered the U.S Navy in 1986 and became a member of SEAL Team Two in 1987. He was active in worldwide training and completed two deployments to Europe where he specialized in counter-terrorist tactics, winter warfare, ordnance and intelligence gathering. In 1991 he was assigned to the Pentagon under the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low-Intensity Conflict. After completing his active duty service, he became a licensed private investigator in Virginia. He returned to New England in 1996 as a private investigator and as an instructor in SEAL Team 2 Naval Reserves. Dave is TBK’s Director of Maritime Security and carries a concealed weapons license in Massachusetts. Mr. Bruce is a Force Protection Officer presently with Special Operations Command and has received over fifteen medals and commendations for his work in the navy. Dave holds a Bachelor’s in Geology and Fine Art from the University of Maryland. |
Tom graduated from the Naval Intelligence Training Center in VA in 1991 and then reported to SEAL Team 8 as a SEAL/Intelligence Specialist. He deployed to the Adriatic area in support of Nato Forces and to Haiti in support of U.S. Operations. In 1995 he was assigned to SEAL Training department where he taught photo surveillance, mission planning, military research and advanced maritime operations. Tom joined the SEAL reserves in 1997 and deployed to Iraq in 2005 with SEAL Team 4 to protect high value targets and he deployed to Africa in 2006 as the Task Unit Commander in charge of an isolated Special Forces training post. He is currently a reserve Lieutenant Commander assigned to the SEALs based in VA. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics from Saint Michael’s College in VT. He has also completed numerous civilian and military schools on Crisis Management and Force Protection. Tom is the director of Crisis Management for TBK. |
